‍Glass tiles and ceramic tiles make great companions. You can create interesting and unique textures and finishes by mixing it up. Mosaic tiles can be as structured or chaotic as you want. Mix up materials, colours and layouts to give your bathroom or kitchen a totally fresh look. There is no wrong way to design a tiled wall or floor.

Make sure that you use the right grouting and adhesive, to keep the mixed tiles looking good together. If you combine heavier glass tiles with thin ceramics, use an adhesive grade that can handle the heavier tile comfortably.

Mixing tiles also requires a careful check of the measurements. Remember that rustic edged tiles will not sit flush against straight cut ones: but this will give the wall or floor a hand finished and individual character.
