Tile Trends
A timeless bathroom choice, blue is now making a name for itself in kitchens, too, with midnight blue being one of the hottest kitchen trends this year!
Spanning several shades, it’s no surprise that blue is becoming an increasingly popular choice, especially as rather than making us feel ‘blue’, the cooling shade is found to be calming – creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing bedtime bath or an enjoyable evening meal prep.

Go Blue In The Bathroom
For a coastal, all-year-round holiday feel, blue tiles are a must in the bathroom. Whether you go for floor-to-ceiling blue, or prefer a more subtle look with large white or grey tiles and a feature splashback or decorative panel made from blue mosaic tiles, the final look is sure to install a sense of nostalgia in you. Complete the scheme with classic blue and white striped towels, driftwood shelving and beachcombing replicas, such as ornamental shells in shipwreck-inspired glass bottles.
Bring Blue Into The Kitchen
Blue is a food stylist’s ideal backdrop choice for a reason – it makes the food pop out of the picture, just as blue tiles in your kitchen will make all of your favourite kitchenware pieces and delicious creations draw the eye even more. If you’ve fallen in love with dark blue cabinetry, pair it with blue-grey tiles, adding in a touch of metallic to match brassware or copper pots and pans if you like. In an all-white kitchen you can go bolder with blue, creating intricate splashbacks with a mix of blue mosaic tiles in an abundance of shades. Work in some silver or grey tones for a little extra flair. To go all in, use your blue tiles as the accent colour for the rest of the kitchen and display glassware, crockery and perhaps even some gorgeous cast iron pans in your favourite shade of blue.

Not Quite Sold On Blue?
